Neil believes in the power of sport. He also believes that the environmental and social challenges facing the world mean everyone, corporations and individuals alike need to adopt a more sustainable way of living and working.

To this end Neil’s work at Blueshift involves advising sports organisations, event managers and sponsors on how to think and act in a more environmentally and socially responsible way, apply the principles of sustainable development and create strategies to use sport as a tool to build a more sustainable future. Neil is trained in the implementation of BS8901, the sustainable event management system.

Neil’s previous experience includes 12 years advising brands and rights holders on creating and delivering impactful sponsorship strategies and activation programmes most recently as an independent consultant and previously at Threshold Sports and Carat Sponsorship. He has worked on brands such as Nokia, the Department for Transport, British Gas, Guinness and British Cycling.
